Automatic Sprue cutting

After the successful realisation of a project in the field of "component removal from the injection moulding machine", it turned out that the "manual cutting concept" planned by the customer (industry: white goods) did not work reliably. In close collaboration with the customer, the cutting tolerances and quality requirements were analysed, and an innovative and automated cutting concept ("robotic solution" and "modular system") was developed and successfully implemented. A win-win situation for our customer, as we were able to realise a process-safe cutting through the new solution and an unsafe existing system without corresponding CE conformity could be sorted out. The system was designed in such a way that, in the future, the trimming of other components can be mapped with this concept.
